Reading a licence line
Two licence numbers, one brand: what Bitcasino.io and Jack.com print
Bitcasino.io prints two licence numbers on two of its own pages. Jack.com's footer prints OGL/2024/1562/1139, while the Curaçao certificate for jackbit.com shows OGL/2024/1800/1049. Here is what each case means, and how to check a certificate by domain yourself.
A licence number in a casino footer is a line of text the operator typed. The register entry behind it is a record kept by the authority that issued the licence, and most of the time the two match. We found 2 brands in our comparison where they do not: Bitcasino.io, whose own pages disagree with each other, and Jack.com, whose footer disagrees with the register entry we read on 8 September 2026.
Bitcasino.io: two of its own pages disagree
The footer and the dedicated licence page, read 2 September 2026, name the Curaçao Gaming Authority as the licensing body for Moon Technologies B.V., under licence OGL/2023/111/0069, issued on 1 July 2024.
The AML policy page, headed “Updated: 24.11.2022”, prints a different line: “Gaming Licence Number: 1668/JAZ”.
Both pages are live and both belong to the operator. The 1668/JAZ string follows the format of Curaçao's previous licensing regime; the OGL string follows the format of the current authority. A policy page that was never updated after the change is the plainest explanation, but it is an explanation rather than a finding. We did not check either Bitcasino.io number against a register, so we do not say which one is current. The rest of what we read about the brand is in BetFury vs Bitcasino.io.
Jack.com: the footer and the register disagree
Here the operator's own pages agree with each other, and the register says something else.
The Curaçao certificate portal, searched by domain on 8 September 2026, returns an active Certificate of Operation for jackbit.com, the operator's older domain: Ryker B.V., company number 154186, licence OGL/2024/1800/1049, granted 14 August 2024, status Active.
The footer the operator served on 30 August 2026 prints OGL/2024/1562/1139 and a different company, Data Link Digital B.V. Terms dated 2 May 2022 add a third string, 1668/JAZ under Curaçao eGaming for Ryker B.V., the same old-format number that appears on Bitcasino.io's AML page.
The accurate sentence has two halves. The domain is covered by a live certificate. The number the brand prints is not the number on that certificate, and we have not confirmed it anywhere. “Unlicensed” would be wrong, and so would “licence verified”. The full reading is in BetFury vs Jack.com.

How to check a certificate by domain
The check is short, and you can repeat it on any site before you deposit.
- Start from the domain, not the number. The Curaçao certificate portal is searchable by domain and by company name, and not by licence number. Type the exact domain you plan to deposit on.
- Read five things off the certificate. The company name, the company number, the licence number, the grant date and the current status.
- Compare them with the footer. Put the footer's number and company next to the certificate's. If they match, you have one answer. If they differ, you have the Jack.com case: a covered domain and an unconfirmed printed number.
- Match the exact domain. A certificate is issued for a domain. Jack.com's record came back for jackbit.com, so check the address you will actually use.
- Write down the date. A status is what the record said on the day you opened it, and statuses change. BC.Game's Curaçao record, OGL/2023/118/0060, reads Revoked in the data we hold.
- Name your source. Curaçao publishes two official sources that disagree on dates and status for the same licence numbers, and only the certificate portal can be searched by domain.
Here is what the check returns for BetFury. Searched by domain on 8 September 2026, betfury.io brings up a Certificate of Operation: operated by Universe B Games B.V., company number 155126, licence OGL/2024/1494/0942, under the National Ordinance on Games of Chance, P.B. 2024 no. 157, granted 31 July 2025, status Active. An earlier note of ours recorded the company as an N.V.; the certificate says B.V., and the certificate is what we print.
What a matching number does not settle
A live certificate tells you that a licence exists and applies to a domain on a given day. It says nothing about how quickly a casino pays or how it handles verification, and a revoked entry stays revoked whatever the footer says.
